Party Swap is operated by Laudico-Merriman Enterprises. Laudico-Merriman Enterprises is the data controller for personal data collected through Party Swap, which means we decide how and why it is used.
What we collect and why
- Account details (name, email, password, sign-in details) — to create and secure your account. Basis: performing our contract with you.
- Profile information (company, member level, city, state, service area, photo, bio) — to show your profile and opportunities to other members. Basis: contract. Your exact home address and personal phone number are never displayed.
- Opportunities, swaps, messages and ratings — to run the marketplace and Swap Pairs. Basis: contract.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages used) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the service. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Notification preferences and email — to send swap and account alerts, and marketing only where you've agreed. Basis: contract, or consent for marketing.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run Party Swap, such as hosting, database, email delivery and support tools.
- Our payment provider, for the sale of memberships, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities where required by law.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When it's no longer needed — for example after you close your account — we delete or anonymise it, unless we must keep certain records by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email support@partyswapmarketplace.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and restricted database permissions.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in and the site working. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but you may need to sign in again.
